I have a 16' Clinker boat with a Model BP Style#300727 SN 187472. I would like to know HP and approx year built? Also did Briggs make a marine reverse gear to go along with these engines? Or do you have to have a certain Briggs model that will bolt on a marine gear? Did this model have an air cleaner of some sort, mine has nothing at present just open to the choke shutter. What would the appropriate color be for this engine? Restoring the boat and equipment as best to original as we can.
